Chelsea have been offered the chance to pip London rivals Tottenham to the signing of AC Milan striker Krzysztof Piatek.
And the news has quickly made its way to several Spurs supporters on social media.
According to Italian football expert Nicolo Schira, the Blues have been told through the player’s agent that they can sign the 24-year-old before the end of the month ahead of Spurs.
Both London sides have appeared to be keen on strengthening their attacking ranks before the end of the window.
Chelsea look set to be on the search for a replacement to Olivier Giroud, who Schira also adds is closing in on a move to Inter Milan.
While Tottenham are in the market for a new forward following Harry Kane’s recent hamstring injury.
Piatek has an impressive record in front of goal, so there’s no surprise to see so much interest in the Poland international. He’s scored 26 times for both Milan and Genoa over the last 18 months.
