Newly promoted Leeds United are looking to take Chelsea youngster Conor Gallagher on loan this summer according to Football London.

The 20-year-old Blues youth product has impressed on loan in the Championship this season, spending an early spell at Charlton before finishing the 2019/20 campaign at Swansea City, where he helped the club reach the play-offs.

Gallagher managed six goals in the first half of the season for Charlton when he was recalled in January before he was sent back out on loan the following day, this time to the Swans.

It seems likely that Gallagher, who has four England Under 21 caps, is set for another loan spell next season, this time at a fellow Premier League club.

Leeds aren’t the only suitors for the midfielder’s services, with the likes of Crystal Palace, Southampton, and Fulham all interested in his signature.

As Chelsea have already welcomed Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech to the club, it is unlikely Gallagher would see any first-team action next term, therefore a move to another Premier League club for some much-needed game time could suit all concerned.

Chelsea will continue to look to improve their squad and it remains to be seen if they make any new signings one of football’s highest earners.
