Chelsea defeated Leeds United 1-0 to reach the FA Cup final. Enzo Fernandez’s first-half header was enough to seal the deal for the London side and set a Wembley date with Manchester City next month.
The Blues were lively after Liam Rosenior’s departure. Under interim manager Calum McFarlane, the side dominated possession and made their physical presence cut short Daniel Farke’s side’s play. Alejandro Garnacho and Marc Cucurella did their job on the left side.
Later, Joao Pedro’s shot came the closest to breaking the deadlock but hit the post. The breakthrough arrived in the 23rd minute, with Enzo Fernandez converting Pedro Neto’s cross to finish off the game.
