It is increasingly looking like Xabi Alonso could be the man to get the Chelsea job this summer. What could help Chelsea is the fact that Liverpool do not seem keen on parting with Arne Slot. A large part of their fanbase is not happy with the Dutch manager. But the Reds seem to want to stick with the Premier League winner.
That is somewhat understandable. Even Jurgen Klopp had bad seasons. So, they cannot make a wrong decision and lose someone who has shown he is capable of delivering major trophies.
