Chelsea have confirmed their summer transfer business so far, with Marco Palestra and Geovany Quenda listed as the club’s two senior arrivals.
The club’s official transfer tracker names Palestra as Chelsea’s first signing of the summer after his permanent move from Atalanta. The Italian has signed a contract through to 2033.
Quenda’s move from Sporting has also formally gone through after first being agreed in March 2025. The Portuguese winger has signed until 2034, adding another long-term attacking piece for Xabi Alonso.
Chelsea have also confirmed new deals for Jesse Derry, Charlie Holland, Justin Osagie and Dante Waite. Derry has since joined Sporting on loan for the 2026/27 season, while Harrison Murray-Campbell will spend the campaign with Belgian side KV Kortrijk.
ReadChelsea recently looked at Quenda’s long route to Chelsea and his hidden Cobham visits, with the 19-year-old now officially part of Alonso’s squad picture.
Chelsea Exits Show Scale Of Alonso Reset
The departures list carries more senior weight.
Marc Cucurella has left for Real Madrid after four years at Stamford Bridge, while Tyrique George’s move to Everton has also become permanent.
Academy exits include Brodi Hughes, Jimmy-Jay Morgan, Richard Olise, Sam Rak-Sakyi, Jimi Tauriainen and Joseph Wheeler-Henry.
The list shows Chelsea are moving on two fronts. Alonso has fresh senior talent arriving, but the club are also clearing academy pathways and making firm decisions on players needing regular football.
Palestra and Quenda will draw most attention because of their contract lengths and first-team potential. The wider picture, though, points to another busy Chelsea summer shaped by youth, sales and long-term squad control.
