Chelsea have received enquiries from three Premier League clubs over Mykhailo Mudryk following the resolution of his doping case.
Coventry City are among the sides interested in the 25-year-old, while Chelsea could consider sending him out on loan this summer.
Daily Mail Sport reports that several clubs have approached Chelsea since Mudryk became available to play again. Frank Lampard’s Coventry are believed to be among those exploring a potential deal.
However, Chelsea have not yet decided what happens next. Mudryk has travelled to Hong Kong and will first be assessed by Xabi Alonso after almost two years without competitive football.
Mykhailo Mudryk loan could become Chelsea option
Chelsea currently have several possible routes available.
Mudryk could remain with Alonso’s squad if he quickly proves he is ready for first-team football. However, a loan would give him the chance to play regularly after such a lengthy absence.
Strasbourg are another possible destination. A move to the Ligue 1 club would allow Chelsea to keep Mudryk within the BlueCo structure while monitoring his progress closely.
The Premier League interest provides another alternative. Coventry would offer English football and a reunion with Lampard, who worked with Mudryk during his interim spell at Stamford Bridge in 2023.
Chelsea are unlikely to rush the decision. Mudryk has been training privately throughout his suspension, but competitive football presents a very different challenge.
His return only became possible after the FA and World Anti-Doping Agency resolved the disciplinary proceedings against him. Under the revised WADA standard, the concentration found in his original sample would not now have resulted in an anti-doping violation.
Therefore, the immediate priority is discovering his current level.

Mudryk is expected to train with Chelsea in Hong Kong before Alonso makes a clearer decision.
For now, though, three Premier League enquiries ensure the winger already has options if Chelsea decide a loan is the best next step.
