Chelsea have been offered the chance to make a shock move for Arsenal youngster Myles Lewis-Skelly. The 19-year-old has been presented to the Blues following Arsenal’s midfield reshuffle, although there is currently no indication that Chelsea have decided to pursue a deal.
Lewis-Skelly has long been admired at Stamford Bridge and can operate both at left-back and in central midfield.

Football.London reporter Bobby Vincent has revealed that Lewis-Skelly has been offered to Chelsea following Arsenal’s signing of Bruno Guimaraes.
Vincent says Chelsea have held a long-term interest in the England international, but there is no indication yet that the club will make a move.
That makes this an opportunity presented to Chelsea rather than an active pursuit at this stage.
The situation is nevertheless intriguing for Xabi Alonso.
Lewis-Skelly broke into Arsenal’s senior side as a left-back but developed through the academy as a midfielder, giving him the sort of positional flexibility Alonso values.
Chelsea already possess significant competition in both areas. ReadChelsea reported on Monday that Alonso is finally preparing to work with his complete senior squad at Cobham as the club assess their options before the start of the Premier League season.
Any move across London would also be particularly significant given Lewis-Skelly’s history with Arsenal.
For now, Chelsea have simply been made aware that a potential opportunity exists.
Whether they believe it is worth testing Arsenal’s resolve could become one of the more fascinating transfer situations to watch during the remaining weeks of the window.
