Jose Mourinho has agreed a new four-year contract with Chelsea, according to Simon Johnson of the Evening Standard.
The new deal is expected to be announced before the new season starts and it will see the Portuguese continue to earn £8.5 million a year.
The Blues were confident of contract talks going smoothly after Mourinho reiterated his content with staying at Chelsea in May.
The 52-year-old’s assistants Rui Faria and Silvinho Louro have also received new contracts.
Mourinho’s side won the Premier League and the League Cup last season.
This is the manager’s second spell at the club after initially leaving the Blues in 2007.
He has coached Inter Milan, Real Madrid and Porto in his managerial career and has consistently won silverware with each club- winning the league title with each club.
Mourinho won the FIFA World Coach of the Year award in 2010 after leading Inter Milan to a treble.
