Chelsea Agree Luis Deal with Atletico

Sky Sports News have confirmed that Chelsea have agreed a fee of £15m with Atletico Madrid for the sale of Filipe Luis.

The left-back spent one season with the blues after a transfer from Atletico Madrid for a reported fee of £16m last summer. Luis struggled to break into the Chelsea first team, often finding himself playing back-up to the ever present Cesar Azpilicueta.

Only a few days ago Mourinho was quoted saying that if Filipe is sold, a player will be brought in to replace him to keep the balance in the squad. Abdul Baba Rahman has been the most talked about replacement, however only time will tell who will replace Luis.

The Brazilian defender will head back to Spain this week for a medical and will complete a return back to the Vicente Calderon, where he originally impressed under Diego Simeone.

Are we sad to see him go? Who should Chelsea replace him with? Let us know!
