Chelsea are reportedly interested in Tottenham midfielder, Mousa Dembele and could prepare a January bid according to the Mirror.
Jose Mourinho is keen to add some firepower into his midfield and could look to Tottenham’s Belgian midfielder who has enjoyed a good run of form this season under Mauricio Pochettino.
Dembele is valued at around £20m and the player’s long-term future at White Hart Lane is still unsure after the club were willing to sell Dembele during the summer. This report comes just days after news that suggested John Obi Mikel could be on his way out of Chelsea soon.
The Premier League champions are not the only club thought to be interested, Stoke are also monitoring the situation.
Tottenham are reportedly believed to be opening contract talk with the midfielder, his current deal only has 18 months remaining on it. His performances this season could change their decisions when it comes to offering him a new deal.
