Aston Villa are reportedly keen on taking Loic Remy on loan for the remainder of the season, according to the Birmingham Mail.
Villa are struggling at the foot of the Premier League and are lacking goals. New manager Remi Garde is believed to be looking at his fellow countryman to get his side out of their current predicament.
Remy has struggled to get into the Chelsea to this season and has yet to register a Premier League goal this season.

Despite the poor form of Diego Costa, who has scored just three goals in the league, Remy has seen most of his minutes from the bench. Remy was a late substitute in Chelsea’s latest defeat at home to Bournemouth.
The Premier League champions, who are in nothing short of a predicament themselves, are reportedly keen on spending in January to bolster their attack. Something that could see Loic Remy forced out of Stamford Bridge.
The report in the Mail claims that Villa are also looking at Arsenal’s Joel Campbell as an alternative. As well as former Chelsea left-back, Ashley Cole
