A big-money move to Chelsea for Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan seems unlikely after the Belgian admitted that despite interest from the Blues, he is happy in the Italian capital, according to ESPN FC.
Incoming Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is thought to be fond of Nainggolan, and the Londoners have been strongly linked with a move for him over the past month.
Nainggolan has acknowledged Chelsea’s interest on multiple occasions, but it is well known that his preference is to stay at Roma.

The midfielder was once again asked about Chelsea’s interest in him outside of Belgium’s Euro 2016 training ground in Bordeaux, where he revealed a promise that he made to Roma president James Pallotta.
I said to him I love where I am playing so why not stay?
The news of Nainggolan’s plans will be a blow to Chelsea, who are after a midfielder of his calibre.
Chelsea were talking but at the moment there is nothing. The Premier League is a big competition, it’s lovely, but I think sometimes in life you need to make choices, and all I can say is that I am happy where I am.
Nainggolan will continue his Euro 2016 campaign with Belgium when they take on Hungary in the round of sixteen on Sunday. If any deal is to go through, it’s likely it won’t be until Belgium’s tournament is concluded.
