Chelsea have made a ‘very high’ bid for AC Milan defender, Alessio Romagnoli, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.com.
Antonio Conte is on the hunt for a new defender this summer and has seen his lengthy pursuit of Napoli defender, Kalidou Koulibaly slowly come to a halt, as the Italian club prepare to offer the French born-Senegalese defender.
The Blues have now turned their attention to the young AC Milan defender, who joined the club from AS Roma last summer and is known as a confident ball-playing defender.

Despite what the report addresses, as a very high offer, the Italian side are very keen to keep hold of their defender, who is held in very high regard and is considered as one of the best young defenders in Europe.
The 21-year-old, who can also play left-back, has represented Italy at every youth level, including U21s. However, he is yet to receive a senior appearance.
