Chelsea’s FA Cup journey continues this weekend, with Championship side and London rivals Brentford the visitors to Stamford Bridge in the fourth round.
In the previous round, Chelsea easily beat League One side Peterborough United 4-1. Goals from Michy Batshuayi, Willian, and a Pedro double helped Chelsea comfortably beat the Posh and reach the fourth round.
Brentford were also comfortable winners in their third round tie, winning 5-1 at home to non-league side Eastleigh United. Goals from Yoann Barbet, Tom Field, Lasse Vibe, and Romaine Sawyers helped Dean Smith’s side to set up this fixture in the next round.
This game will bring former Chelsea player Josh McEachran back to Stamford Bridge. The midfielder left Chelsea in 2015 and will be hoping he can help his new side cause a shock result.
With Chelsea’s FA Cup fourth-round fixture against Brentford coming up, we take a look back at Chelsea’s last five fixtures in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
