According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Manchester City have submitted a higher bid than Chelsea for Real Madrid right-back Danilo.
The sum of the bid hasn’t been reported but Man City are still in the market for a right back, despite paying a record fee for Kyle Walker. With Bacary Sagna and Pablo Zabaleta having left after not renewing their contracts, City clearly want two new arrivals.

City are apparently vert very close to Danilo and advanced talks between the and the right back are apparently on going at the moment.
This news will be a bitter pill to swallow for Chelsea if it turns out to be true as it’ll be the second time they’ve had a move hijacked by a Manchester club after United took Romelu Lukaku from Everton.
