Chelsea have confirmed that youngster Mason Mount has signed a new long-term contract at the club and will spend next season on loan at Vitesse.
Mount is set to join the likes of Fankaty Dabo and Charlie Colkett at Vitesse this season as they look to improve on a fifth place finish from last season, helped by Lewis Baker, Matt Miazga, Mukhtar Ali and Nathan who were all on loan there from the Premier League champions.

The tricky midfielder played a very key role in Chelsea’s U18 side which won the UEFA Youth League and the FA Youth Cup two seasons ago. He also helped defend the FA Youth Cup last season.
Mount has made 45 appearances in all competitions for the club’s youth sides, scoring seven times and assisting nine.
Vitesse will play in the Europa League group stage this season, giving Mount the chance to play in Europe in his first season in senior football.
