Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte has turned his attention to signing Barcelona’s versatile Sergi Roberto this summer, reports the Mirror.
Conte wants more signings this summer, despite the arrivals of Antonio Rudiger, Alvaro Morata, Willy Caballero and Tiemoue Bakayoko.
The Italian has set his sights on the Barcelona man to compete with current right-back, Victor Moses and to also bolster his squad ahead of their title defence and their return to the Champions League.
The likes of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Serge Aurier, Joao Cancelo and Danilo, who joined Chelsea’s title rivals Manchester City, are all wing-backs who have been linked with a move to Chelsea this summer.

Roberto can also play in midfield which, would make for a versatile option for Conte who also has to contend with the added pressure of the Champions League this season.
It has been reported that the player has a £36 million release clause at the Nou Camp, meaning Chelsea will have to spend big yet again if they want to bring in the Spaniard.
