Tottenham defender Danny Rose wants to join either Chelsea or Manchester United if he’s allowed to leave this summer, according to Sky Sports.
Rose has been one of the best left-backs in recent years, helping Tottenham to finish third then second a season later, despite being out for half of last campaign.
Despite the reports, Rose hasn’t actually asked to leave Tottenham and is open to staying there but has identified both Chelsea and Manchester United as possible destinations in an attempt to win trophies.
Chelsea have been linked with another left-back, Juventus’ Alex Sandro, but these reports of the Brazilian full-back joining have quietened down recently so Rose could be their answer as they look to bolster their squad to defend their Premier League title and return to the Champions League.

Tottenham have already sold one of their talented full-backs in Kyle Walker to Manchester City for £50 million, which means Mauricio Pochettino would be reluctant to let another go.
Rose joined Spurs in 2007, for £900k from Leeds and has had spells on loan at Watford, Peterborough, Bristol City and Sunderland, before cementing his place into the Tottenham team.
