Chelsea’s transfer business this summer is far from over, and according to reports, they have lodged an enquiry for PSG midfielder Julian Draxler.
According to Graeme Bailey for The Gambling Times, the Blues are one of several top flight clubs to have contacted PSG about the German international, who is primed for an exit from Paris this month.
Unai Emery is looking to revamp his squad and off the back of securing Neymar in a world-record deal from Barcelona, he is looking to trim down his squad in terms of numbers.
It looks as though Draxler will be one of many stars who will face the axe under Emery, with clubs across the continent now put on red alert to his situation.
Chelsea aren’t totally finished in the market and should an opportunity arise to land Draxler, Antonio Conte would surely be tempted.
Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United are also reportedly tracking Draxler’s situation.
