According to Football Italia, Loic Remy is a huge target for Cagliari, as they look to solve their striker crisis.
Chelsea are looking to offload Remy after he has failed to impress whilst at the club, as well when on loan from Chelsea at Crystal Palace, mainly due to injury but when he did play, he didn’t perform well.
He is still at Chelsea but he has been deemed surplus to requirements at the club, who would like to get him off of their wage bill.
They also have Michy Batshuayi and new signing, Alvaro Morata ahead of him in the pecking order and it would be hard to get a start over either of them so Remy needs a move to revitalise his career.

During his career, which has spanned between Lyon, Lens, Nice, Marseille, QPR, Newcastle, Chelsea and Crystal Palace, the 30-year-old Frenchman has made 313 appearances, scoring 108 times and getting 29 assists.
Cagliari are looking to replace former West Ham striker, Marco Borriello, who left this summer and time is running out for them to sign Leonardo Pavoletti from Napoli.
