An agreement has finally been reached for Diego Costa to return to Atletico Madrid from Chelsea.

The 28-year-old striker joined The Blues from Atletico in the summer of 2014 and has scored 59 goals in 120 appearances since his arrival at Stamford Bridge.
Costa has made it very clear since the end of last season that he wishes to return to Atletico and missed Chelsea training sessions in order to force a move through.
His former club have now confirmed that an agreement has finally been reached between the two clubs and the striker will have a medical in the Spanish capital, with a view to the transfer taking place.
Costa is yet to finalise his contract with Atletico but this should be somewhat of a formality.
