Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has underlined how Charly Musonda can continue to improve following the young Belgian’s impressive performance against Nottingham Forest in the Carabao Cup.
Musonda made his first start for the Blues in Wedneday night’s cup tie, and made an instant impact, scoring his first goal for the club on what was a great night of football at Stamford Bridge.

Now, Antonio Conte is keen to see him keep up the good work (via ESPN):
I think Charly played very well,
He’s trying to work a lot to improve his physical impact with this league. Don’t forget this league is very strong in the physical aspect. We are working a lot with Charly in this aspect to be ready to play in this league.
For sure he’s a talented player and he has to continue in this way. When there is the opportunity, the chance, to help us [by playing], he must do this
Musonda, who turns 21 next month, was born in Brussels and was part of Anderlecht’s youth academy before switching to Chelsea’s system in 2012. He spent the last season and a half out on loan at Real Betis in La Liga and scored one goal for the club, in a 2-2 draw against Deportivo La Coruna, after making his Betis debut against Valencia.
