Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham, who is currently on loan at Swansea City, is set to choose to represent Nigeria at international level after representing England at various youth levels, according to a report on NBC Sports.
The 19-year-old forward is eligible to play for Nigeria through his father who was born there. The striker is expected to make an announcement soon and will cast a huge blow to the England set-up as he is considered as one of their brightest prospects.
The Nigerian Football Federation president Amaju Pinnick has made it clear that he wants Abraham to represent the Super Eagles at the 2018 World Cup in Russia, if they qualify.

I had a very honest and productive discussion with Tammy and his father last week. It’s been a long process but I can tell you that he has agreed to play for Nigeria and not England. He understands he stands a better chance playing for the Super Eagles.
The forward will most likely contest for a starting position with Leicester City forward Kelechi Iheanacho in what could become a very exciting front-line.
Abraham has represented England at youth levels since 2014 but is looking to be a first team player, which is something that Nigeria can provide for him.
The necessary documents have begun to be filed and are expected to be completed shortly.
