Juventus defenders Alex Sandro and Giorgio Chiellini are both expected to sign new contracts with La Vecchia Signora, providing Chelsea with a double transfer blow.
This comes according to Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport (via TalkSPORT), who claim that both Sandro, 26, and Chiellini, 33, have agreed terms with the club and ready to commit their futures to the Turin side.

Chelsea were extensively linked with Brazilian international Alex Sandro, who can play left-back or on the left wing, during the recent summer transfer window, but ultimately failed to bring him in, and are therefore still thought to be interested in a deal for him — with January the Blues’ next opportunity to prise him away.
However, he is said to have agreed improved terms with his current club, who also boast the talents of Paulo Dybala, Miralem Pjanic and goalkeeping legend Gianluigi Buffon.
Giorgio Chiellini was not so actively linked with Chelsea in the transfer window just gone, but talkSPORT’s report claims that Blues boss Antonio Conte is a big fan of the commanding and experienced centre-back, regarded as one of the best in the world in his position.

Conte managed Chiellini both in his time as manager of the Serie A side, and internationally with Italy, but the towering defender is understood to be on the verge of signing a new contract which could keep him at the club until 2020; when he will turn 36 years old.
