Chelsea frontman Alvaro Morata and his agent have been made aware of interest from Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint-Germain, according to a report from Marca, as cited by Sports Witness.

The Spaniard has started life in the Premier League well, netting seven goals in 10 appearances to make him his new club’s top scorer. However, Morata came into the firing line earlier this season after an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport, where quotes seemed to suggest that he wanted to leave Chelsea already.
In reality, it seems like his words had been twisted and when the striker had spoken about leaving London, he meant moving away from central London rather than a desire to leave Chelsea. This was clarified by Morata in a subsequent press conference.

Nevertheless, Sports Witness noticed a new rumour in Spain today suggesting that PSG were keeping tabs on Morata as a replacement for Edinson Cavani.
This will have alerted Morata’s agent to the potential for a move to happen. However, it seems highly unlikely at this stage that the player will be searching for a move away so quickly after joining and settling in at the bridge.
The lure of Paris and the potential of being part of a deadly attack with Neymar and Kylian Mbappe could end up being too much for Morata to turn down, but any potential move will depend on the future of Cavani.
