According to Don Balon, PSG are prepared to offer Edinson Cavani to Atletico Madrid as a swap deal for Antoine Griezmann.
As PSG look to improve their attack even more, they are prepared to offer a swap deal with Atletico Madrid to bring in Griezmann in exchange for Cavani, meaning Manchester United will lose out on their long-term pursuit of Griezmann and Chelsea’s move for Cavani.
Cavani was linked with Chelsea after his confrontation with new big-money signing, Neymar but their hopes are thinning.
PSG have tried to sign Griezmann before and Atletico Madrid manager, Diego Simeone is a massive fan of Cavani, who has scored 19 goals in as many games this campaign.
Griezmann has had a contrasting season from Cavani, as the French forward has only scored three goals as he has failed to recover his blistering goal-scoring form in recent years.
However, there is now doubt that a front three of Kylian Mbappe, Griezmann and Neymar would be deadly against Europe’s best defences.
