Chelsea winger Willian has conceded that the strength of Manchester City so far this season presents a big obstacle in Chelsea’s bid to defend their Premier League crown.
Discussing City’s remarkable Premier League form, he said (via the Evening Standard):
It’s difficult
Manchester City are playing very well but I think we can fight for the title until the end.

The Brazilian wide man, who is one of the various Blues players battling for a place in Antonio Conte’s starting eleven every week, has admitted that being champions makes the following campaign slightly more difficult.
It is difficult to play when you were champion last season and to fight for the title again as every team wants to win against Chelsea.
Willian was a key performer for Chelsea last season, scoring 12 goals — the most he has ever managed in one campaign throughout his senior career.

He has found himself somewhat on the fringes of the action this year though, and has only made eight appearances in all competitions, scoring once.
The Brazilian international will be hoping to impress his manager in training in the coming weeks, as the Blues gear up to face West Bromwich Albion, Qarabag and then Liverpool in the Premier League and Champions League.
