According to The Telegraph, Willian has slyly asked Chelsea to recall Ruben Loftus-Cheek from his loan from Crystal Palace.
After his outstanding performance in his debut for England on Friday against world champions Germany, he has been the talk of the town, with many tipping him to have a bright future and even drawing comparisons to current Chelsea midfielder, Cesc Fabregas.
Willian has joined in with the hype over Loftus-Cheek, with the Brazilian winger speaking very highly of the midfielder, as well as questioning his club’s decision to loan Loftus-Cheek out, he said
I don’t know why he is at Crystal Palace now. I don’t know why. He has to come back! He is strong, he has quality. He has a great future.
Chelsea have been criticised before over their loan policy, but never by their own players, so after this, they may think twice about always loaning out their promising talents.
