Chelsea are leaning towards making Laurent Blanc their new manager, with RMC Sport reporting that the Frenchman is the cheapest solution for the Blues.
Antonio Conte’s exit from Stamford Bridge appears to be little more than a formality at this stage, with the Blues actively searching for replacements to step in this summer.
Maurizio Sarri was targeted but due to contractual issues following his sacking at Napoli, it seems he will not be making the move to English football this summer.

Slavisa Jokanovic, who recently guided Fulham to the Premier League, has also been targeted but it appears as though Blanc has jumped to the front of the queue.
The former Manchester United defender has not been in management for some years now following his exit from PSG.
However, it seems Chelsea are open to making him their new manager, with viable candidates becoming increasingly scarce as they push ahead with their plans to replace Conte in the managerial hot-seat.
