No Vecino offer on the table from Chelsea

Chelsea are yet to make an official offer to sign Matias Vecino from Inter, according to reports in Italy.

SportItalia, as cited on Calciomercato, claims that the player is a target for the Blues, but no bid has been made.

Previous reports that emerged earlier this week claimed that the Blues had held talks over a deal for the Uruguayan midfielder while the two sides were in Nice for a pre-season friendly.

Inter could sell the player this summer, just one year after joining the club, despite his impressive campaign last time around.

The San Siro outfit are interested in signing both Arturo Vidal and Tiemoue Bakayoko this summer, which could allow Vecino to leave.

Maurizio Sarri has been keen to bring the player to London to improve his midfield options and to implement his style of play at an accelerated pace.

The 26-year-old worked with Sarri during their time at Empoli.
