Everton are said to be interested in an audacious swoop for Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey, who has been recently linked with a move to Chelsea.
According to claims from Italian news outlet TMW, the Toffees are prepared to offer Ramsey a lucrative contract as they bid to beat their Premier League rivals to his signing.
Ramsey looks all but set to depart the Emirates Stadium in the near future, with his contract set to reach its expiration date at the end of the season.
This has prompted plenty of speculation surrounding where Ramsey’s next destination will be, with some reports indicating that Chelsea have emerged as potential suitors.
However, it seems the Blues will face stiff competition in their pursuit of the Wales international, with Everton among several other clubs believed to be in the race.
Ramsey has also been courted by Serie A sides, with AC Milan and Juventus believed to be interested in signing the midfielder on a free transfer.
