Chelsea target Suso has confirmed that there has been contact regarding a potential move to Atletico Madrid.
The Spaniard has recently talked up a move away from the San Siro, with Chelsea and Real Madrid heavily linked with deals to sign the player.
Speaking to Es Radio, as cited on Calciomercato, Suso revealed Real are not the only La Liga side who have been trying to sign him.
There have been contacts with Atletico Madrid, it’s true. There have been options to return to Spain in the last two summers.
The former Liverpool man is said to be wanted by Chelsea, who are particularly keen to bring him back to the Premier League.
Milan are desperate to keep hold of one of their key players and are doing all they can to tie him down to a new deal.
Suso’s current deal at the San Siro does not expire until 2022, but it does have a €38 million release clause, something that the Serie A side are looking to get rid of.
