Daniele Rugani’s father appears to have dropped a hint about his future at Juventus, amid reports that Chelsea are keen on the defender.
The Blues have long been linked with a swoop for the Italy international, who continues to emerge as one of Europe’s most coveted centre-backs.
Maurizio Sarri was believed to have been interested in signing Rugani in the summer transfer window as he aimed to bolster Chelsea’s defensive reinforcements.
No move came to fruition, though, with Juventus retaining the player’s services.

However, it seems the 24-year-old is growing increasingly frustrated by his shortage of game-time for both club and country.
The player’s father, Ubaldo, is reported by Football Italia to have hinted at a potential departure from Juve.
Rugani was left on the bench in Italy’s fixture against the USA and was pictured looking rather glum. His dad took to Facebook to express discontent about the player’s current situation and said:
There’s no need to say anything. This face tells you everything, but soon this story will end. And then we’ll take back everything we deserve, with interest. Vamos DR24, for all my life the best Italian defender.
