Maurizio Sarri has reportedly told Chelsea to complete a deal to sign Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar.
According to reports in France from RMC, as cited on the Metro, the Italian head coach is keen to bring the Lyon star to the Premier League.
The report claims Sarri remains interested in strengthening his midfield, despite the signings of Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic, who joined from Napoli and Real Madrid respectively in the summer.

Sarri appears unwilling to rest on the strength in depth he has available and is looking to add to his options.
Aouar, who is valued at £30 million by Lyon, is believed to be the man Sarri wants to fill the number eight role in his midfield.
Lyon are refusing to sell in January, meaning a summer move is more likely, but both Barcelona and Liverpool are said to be keeping a close eye on the player who is very highly rated in Ligue 1.
