AC Milan’s sporting director Leonardo has confirmed that the Serie A club are still considering whether or not to submit a bid for Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas, according to a report on the Daily Mail.
The Spanish international has seen himself regularly sitting on the bench under Maurizio Sarri so far this season and is becoming increasingly frustrated with the lack of playing time given to him.

He has only made 11 appearances in all competitions this season and Milan are plotting to make an offer for him when the January transfer window opens.
The former Arsenal midfielder is understood to be open to making the move and could take a significant pay cut to seal the transfer.
When speaking about the situation, Leonardo said:
We evaluated it, considering the possibility, but didn’t go all in. We are still evaluating the conditions.
Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri is unlikely to let the midfielder leave without first bringing in a direct replacement for him as the Blues look to push for European and domestic silverware.
