Chelsea will reportedly launch a £20 million bid to sign Elseid Hysaj from Napoli in January.
According to the Mirror, as cited on Calciomercato, the Blues will make an opening offer in an attempt to bring the Albanian defender to London.
The latest report linking Hysaj to Chelsea is far from the previous suggestions of a bid in the region of £45 million.
Hysaj is yet to commit to a new deal with the Naples club and he continues to be heavily linked with a move away.

Sarri was keen to bring the player with him from Napoli in the previous summer window, but any attempt of a deal was blocked after Chelsea signed Jorginho.
The form of French defender Kevin Malcuit in Italy has led to suggestions that Napoli would be happy to let Hysaj go in the near future, with the defender no longer as indispensable as he once was under Sarri.
