Chelsea defender Baba Rahman is close to agreeing to a deal that will see him join Turkish side Goztepe for the rest of the season, according to a report from TRT Spor, as cited by Goal.
Rahman recently terminated his 18-month loan with German side FC Schalke as he wasn’t playing regular football, and it looks like he’s heading to Turkey in order to get regular first-team minutes.

The Ghanaian had made just four appearances for Schalke all season and as such, he was keen to head back to Chelsea to find another club.
The 24-year-old joined Chelsea in 2015, signing a five-year deal for an undisclosed fee, reported to be in the region of £14 million. However, he failed to make an impact at Stamford Bridge and was allowed to join Schalke on loan twice.
Chelsea will hope that the defender impresses in Turkey to increase the chances of selling him for a reasonable fee this summer.
