According to Bild, Liverpool are keen to tie up a deal for Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi this month.
The 18-year-old has been a target for Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich all month but despite some big-money bids, the Blues have so far held firm in their refusal to sell the starlet.
Hudson-Odoi wants a move away from Stamford Bridge in order to get some more regular playing time and is expected to reject any offers of a new contract from the club.
However, Premier League rivals Liverpool are now also believed to be keen on signing the youngster, with it rumoured that the Reds have already met with Hudson-Odoi’s agent and brother, Ashley.
Bayern still appear to be front runners for the youngster’s signature, though RB Leipzig are also believed to be showing an interest.
Chelsea would much prefer to see Hudson-Odoi complete a move to Germany if he is to leave the club rather than lose him to Premier League rivals Liverpool.
