Antoine Semenyo’s move to Chelsea could be confirmed later today, according to a report from Bristol Live.
Gregor MacGregor’s report claims that the striker is close joining the Blues after being recalled from his loan spell at Newport County.
Bristol City confirmed earlier today the striker would be returning to Ashton Gate, but it appears he will not be staying long.
The report claims that the striker will join up with Chelsea’s academy sides but the prospect of him returning on loan either immediately or in the future is not being ruled out at this stage.
Chelsea have developed a good relationship with Bristol City over the years, with the Robins currently having Jay Dasilva, Tomas Kalas and Kasey Palmer on loan at this period of time.
Tammy Abraham has also enjoyed a loan spell at the club in the past and the two clubs have clearly maintained a good working relationship ever since.
