Chelsea look unlikely to complete a deadline day deal to sign Watford midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure.
Simon Johnson of the London Evening Standard reports that the Hornets are not interested in selling the player to Chelsea before Thursday’s deadline.
Earlier in the day, Maurizio Sarri’s side were linked with a dramatic swoop for the Frenchman in the wake of their heavy defeat to Bournemouth on Wednesday night.

Doucoure has been heavily linked with a move away from Watford, with the player boasting ambitions to play European football and break into the French national team.
Paris Saint-Germain have been long-term admirers of the player and were credited with an interest earlier in the January transfer window.
Doucoure has been ever-present for Watford this season, impressing in the middle of the park. He has played a key role in the Hornet’s push to break into the top six this season, but he looks set to see out the season with his current club.
