Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante has insisted that the Blues are not the favourites to lift the UEFA Europa League trophy this season.
As reported on Football London, Maurizio Sarri’s side advanced into the semi-finals of the competition with a 5-3 aggregate victory over Slavia Prague.

The Blues will now face German Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt in the semi-final and could face London rivals Arsenal in the final.
Kante said:
We’re not favourites. We played a good match tonight and we will do all we can to get to the final. But we’re not favourites.
It was important for us to win this game. I think it’s important to be in the semi-finals, it was our target. We played a good game, it was difficult in the second half but we got what we wanted and we are happy about that.
We can make the season beautiful by winning the Europa League.
Olivier Giroud is the current top scorer in the competition with 10 goals and he will be hoping to add to that tally before the end of the competition.
