Serie A side Atalanta are working hard to secure a permanent deal for on-loan Chelsea midfielder Mario Pasalic.
According to Calcio Mercato, Atalanta are keen to make his loan move permanent as he is a key member of their current squad.

Atalanta are currently 4th in the Serie A and look set to secure a place in the Champions League for next season, ahead of the likes of AC Milan, Lazio and Roma.
Pasalic joined Chelsea in 2014 for a reported fee of £3m but has not made a single first-team appearance for the club to date.
This is his fifth loan move away from Chelsea since joining in 2014, with moves to Elche in Spain, Monaco in France, Spartak Moscow in Russia and both Milan and Atalanta in Italy.
The report claims that Atalanta do have the option to sign Pasalic permanently for a fee in the region of €15m.
