“I have made my decision,” claims Hazard

Eden Hazard says he has decided where his future lies, seemingly hinting that his time at Chelsea has come to an end.

The Belgian superstar has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge throughout the campaign, having spent seven years with the Blues.

A summer move to Real Madrid has continually been mooted, with Hazard reportedly desperate to link up with boyhood hero Zinedine Zidane.

The 28-year-old’s future has been up in the air in the past only for him to stay, but this time around it feels different.

It now seems as though Hazard’s final game for Chelsea is imminent, against Arsenal in the Europa League final later this month.

Speaking to the Evening Standard after Maurizio Sarri’s side drew 0-0 with Leicester on Sunday, he said his mind is made up:

Yes I have made my decision (on his future) but it is not just about me.

Would I have liked it to be cleared up earlier in the season? Yes, I wanted that but that’s not happened.

I’m still waiting like you are waiting and the fans are waiting.

While Hazard doesn’t officially say he is leaving, it is hard to envisage him being a Chelsea player next season.

He appears to have done all he can in a Blues shirt and may feel this is his last chance for earn a big move elsewhere at his peak.
