Maurizio Sarri will not pursue a deal for Chelsea midfielder Jorginho at Juventus because he is a huge admirer of Miralem Pjanic, according to a report from The Daily Mail.
The Italian had been linked with a move to Turin following the manager’s switch to the club from Stamford Bridge.
Sarri completed a move to Juventus recently, and speculation suggested that he would pursue a deal for Jorginho, who he signed for Chelsea last summer in a deal believed to have been worth £50 million.

However, these claims have been dismissed by The Daily Mail, whose report states that the former Empoli boss will attempt to deploy Pjanic as the deepest midfielder in his preferred trio at Juventus.
Sarri is widely expected to continue utilising the 4-3-3 shape that he did at both Napoli and Chelsea, and this will see the Serie A champions require a deep-lying technician.
The new manager appears to have identified Pjanic as the perfect candidate, and will, therefore, opt against moving for Jorginho.
