Callum Hudson-Odoi suffered a very unfortunate end to last season, just as it looked as though he was breaking into the Chelsea first-team squad.
Towards the end of the campaign, Hudson-Odoi had a serious Achilles injury which resulted in surgery that saw him miss the rest of the season, including the Europa League final.
However, according to reports on Football London, it has been suggested that Hudson-Odoi could be fit to start the season under potential new Chelsea manager Frank Lampard.

Reece James shared a video of the pair training in the run-up to pre-season captioned ‘Soon back,’ hinting at fans that the youngster’s recovery is going well.
The new Chelsea manager will be hoping Hudson-Odoi is fit to start in August as he is currently the main replacement for Eden Hazard who has left for Real Madrid.
James himself is also returning to full fitness after suffering an ankle injury while playing for England at the Toulon Tournament.
