Sheffield Wednesday keen on Hector loan

Sheffield Wednesday boss Steve Bruce has revealed he would like to sign Michael Hector on loan for a second season.

The Jamaica international spent the 2018/19 campaign on loan with the Owls and impressed in his 37 league appearances.

And according to BBC Sheffield’s Sport Editor Andy Giddings, Bruce has revealed he would jump at the chance to sign Hector on loan once again, while a permanent move for the defender would depend on Chelsea’s valuation.

Hector signed for Chelsea in 2015, in a surprising £4million deal from Reading, and the defender was immediately loaned back to the Royals for the remainder of the season.

The Jamaica international has spent every season since his move to Chelsea on loan with Eintracht Frankfurt, Hull City and Sheffield Wednesday respectively, and is yet to make a senior appearance for the Blues.
