Championship side Swansea City are considering a deal to sign Chelsea midfielder Kasey Palmer on a season-long loan.
According to Sky Sports, Swansea are interested in signing Palmer and are weighing up an offer for the playmaker.
Palmer spent the second half of last season on loan to Bristol City, but struggled to break into the starting XI on a regular basis – after having the same problem on loan to Blackburn in the first few months of the 2018/19 campaign.
The 22-year-old has been with Chelsea in 2013, but is yet to make his senior debut for the club. However, he has been involved in the first-team friendlies this week – against Bohemians and St Patrick’s.
Palmer also spent time on loan to Huddersfield and Derby County earlier in his career, winning the Championship play-offs with the former.
He could now be set for a return to the second tier of English football if Swansea make their move.
