Jamie Gittens at Chelsea
Jamie Gittens plays as an attacker for Chelsea. He wears the number 11 shirt. Roma attempted to sign the winger on a season-long loan. However, Chelsea rejected these approaches during the summer transfer window. Instead, Xabi Alonso considers him a vital part of the first-team squad. The 178 cm tall player represents England at international level.
Crucially, the club ruled out any temporary exit before the deadline. Sky Sports previously mentioned a potential deal worth £52m during wider negotiations. The Serie A club identified the winger as a priority target. Nevertheless, the England international remains at Stamford Bridge for the current campaign. He is currently 22 years old.
Career Before Chelsea
Jamie Gittens spent his early youth career at Manchester City. He later moved to Germany to join Borussia Dortmund in 2020. He developed into a senior professional in the Bundesliga.
