Wesley Fofana at Chelsea
Wesley Fofana plays as a defender for Chelsea. He wears the number 3 shirt for the club. Recently, he returned to the starting XI after completing a two-match suspension. Moreover, he made his first competitive appearance of the season against the opposition. The manager deployed him in a back three alongside Lacroix and Colwill. Indeed, this return provides the Frenchman with little room for a quiet transition back into the side.
Career Before Chelsea
The defender began his professional journey in France. He developed through the youth ranks before moving to the Premier League. Subsequently, he established himself as a prominent centre-back in English football. His physical profile and defensive reading earned him a high-profile move to Stamford Bridge. Consequently, he continues to compete at the highest level of the domestic game.
