The Bridge: A Warning

The Bridge: A Warning

I’ve noticed that fans have been leaving prior to the full-time whistle lately – this annoys me more than the sound of Michael Owen on commentary.

I’m a real Chelsea fan, based in South Wales and don’t get to Stamford Bridge as much as I’d like to. Often because of the lack of tickets remaining.

So below, is a warning to those who dare to exit the Bridge early. Be aware of how lucky you are to witness the greatest team on Earth play under the greatest manager in the greatest arena.

The Bridge is something to connect you from Point A to Point B. From minute 1 to 90.

The Bridge is the sole reason you don’t fall to your depths beneath you.

The Bridge is your sole place of support at that point.

The Bridge is home.

Many with you, are supported, in the same way as they join you at The Bridge.

The Bridge should never be disrespected.

The Bridge should never be exited early, by you or any other fan, or to the depths you should fall.

Never, ever leave the Bridge before the end.

Carefree.

matchday.
